HIGHLIGHT OF: 4 DAYS TOUR FROM TANGIER TO MARRAKECH VIA SAHARA
DAY 1 : TANGIER – CHEFCHAOUEN – FES
When we meet you at the agreed-upon place, we'll drive across the Rif mountains. Passing via Tetoun, one of the most scenic communities at the foot of the Rif Mountains, to take in the breathtaking mountain views before arriving in Chefchaouan. The medina of Chefchaouen, first and foremost, boasts a Spanish-style square surrounded by a range of unique arts and crafts businesses, roof-top eateries, and cafes where you may enjoy lunch. Before continuing on to Fes, where we will spend the night in a traditional Moroccan riad.
DAY 2 : FES – IFRANE – ERFOUD – RISSANI – MERZOUGA CAMEL TREKKING
After breakfast, we'll pick you up and start our adventure. Then head south via the Middle Atlas Mountains to Ifrane and Azrou, dubbed "Moroccan Switzerland." After that, we'll make a pit break in the cedar forests along the route to see the Barbarian Apes in their natural environment. As you journey to Errachidia across the Tizi Ntalghamt pass to Midelt and down the spectacular Ziz Gorges created by volcanic rock, you'll see views of the Middle-Atlas plateau and the environment changing to provide signs of the desert. After lunch, we'll travel over the Ziz Valley to Erfoud, Rissani, and Merzouga. After a glass of mint tea, we'll leave our possessions in a secure location and ride a camel to a Berber tent in the heart of the Erg Chebbi Sand Dunes. They are, in fact, the highest sand dunes in North Africa. To begin, the camel trek from the camp to the Berber tents where we will spend the night in the desert takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. As a result, mattresses, blankets, and pillows are plentiful in the tents. Finally, after dinner, we'll gather around the fire to listen to traditional Berber drums while stargazing.
DAY 3 : MERZOUGA – TOUDRA GORGE – DADES VALLEY
We'll get up early and eat breakfast while watching the sunrise over the dunes. Then take a camel back to your hotel or riad. We'll continue on to Rissani Market, Arfoud, Tinghir, and the Todra Gorges before stopping for dinner and the night in the Dades Valley.
DAY 4 : DADES VALLEY – SKOURA – OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU – MARRAKECH
After breakfast, we'll drive through the Dades Valley to Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate. The "Kasbah Road," which runs through the Dades Valley, provides numerous photo opportunities. We'll then travel to the Roses Valley and the town of Skoura. Then head to Ouarzazat, also known as "Africa's Hollywood." Then it's lunchtime in Ait Ben Haddou, Morocco's largest Kasbah. So, after seeing this UNESCO World Heritage Site, we'll go on to the beautiful Tizi nTichka Pass. Stop at a height of 2260 meters in the High Atlas Mountains to observe the argan oil cooperative and take in the spectacular views. Then, late in the afternoon, we'll arrive in Marrakech, bringing our services to a close.
