HIGHLIGHT OF: 4 DAYS TOUR FROM FES TO MARRAKECH DESERT TOUR
Day 1: Fes - Azrou - Midelt - Erfoud - Merzouga desert
We'll pick you up from your riad/hotel to begin your 4-day Fes to Marrakech Desert Tour, after which we'll travel south via the central chain to Ifrane and Azrou. We'll make a pit stop along the way in the cedar forests to work out the Barbarian Apes in their natural habitat. Traveling across the Tizi Ntalghamt pass to Midelt and down the spectacular Ziz Gorges created by volcanic rock, you'll see views of the Middle-Atlas plateau and thus the environment changing to reveal indications of the desert as you approach Errachidia. After lunch, we'll go to Erfoud, Rissani, and Merzouga via the Ziz Valley. After a glass of mint tea, we'll leave our possessions in a secure location and ride a camel to a Berber tent in the heart of the Erg Chebbi Sad Dunes, which are the best in the region. It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to walk from the camp to the Berber tents where we will spend the night in the desert. There are beds, comforters, and couches in the tents. We'll gather around the fire after dinner to listen to traditional Berber drums under the sky. The first day of our Fes to Marrakech Desert Tour has come to an end.
Day 2: Merzouga Desert Tour and Camel Ride [Night in Desert Camp]
We'll begin our tour of the area after breakfast by listening to their music and observing how they live in a Mali-based community of dark-skinned individuals.
After that, we'll drive to Miffis Mines to learn more about how they operate before heading behind the Dunes into a vast desert with beautiful views, where we'll relax with the local Bedouins over a warm cup of tea before coming back to the hotel.
Your local guides will show you how to saddle and dismount your camel, as well as other crucial camel-related safety instructions, before bringing you to explore the Erg-fascinating Chebbi sand-sea. You'll spend the night in a Berber tent.
DAY 3 : MERZOUGA – TOUDRA GORGE – DADES VALLEY
A beautiful sunrise will be visible above the ocean of dunes. After a delicious breakfast and a hot shower in the camp, we will return to Merzouga on camels or by 4WD. Then we'll leave the Sahara and travel to Tamazight, another magnificent Berber hamlet where the contrast between their palm trees and, as a result, the peculiar color of their homes will wow us. the path along which the contrasts in the landscape can be seen After exploring the Todra Gorges, which are made by 200-meter-high rock walls, we'll proceed to the Dades Valley, a Berber village noted for its steep gorges and panoramas of the Atlas, which is now visible on the horizon. The Fes to Marrakech desert excursion's second night is spent at a lovely riad.
Day 4: Dades - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - Marrakech
We’ll travel the Valley of the Dades and the Valley of the Roses before arriving in Ouarzazate, where we’ll see the Kasbah of Taourirt, at the end of our 4-Day Fes to Marrakech Desert Tour.
After around 25 kilometers on the road, we will arrive to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, which has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has served as the setting for films such as the Oscar-winning “Lawrence of Arabia,” “The Protective Sky,” and “Babel.”
We’ll go via the Tizi N-Tichka pass, as well as the breathtaking vistas of the High Chain of Mountains, which may lead us to Marrakech, the “Red City,” where you’ll be able to say your goodbye to your guide.
